The 7m dish with a crossed logarithmic periodic antenna at Bleien observatory (east) covers 100 MHz - 4 GHz. Currently, there is one Callisto spectrometer 100 MHz - 870 MHz connected to LHCP and a second one to RHCP. Sampling rate is 800 pixels/sec and 100 pixels/sweep thus 1 sweep takes 125 msec. If the displayed unit = ADU then it represents analog-digital units from the internal ADC (-> not calibrated) If the displayed unit = SFU then Callisto is calibrated, but shows only S/2. You have to add them: S_total = S_lhcp + S_rhcp Frequency resolution is 62.5KHz, radiometric bandwidth 300 KHz and the integration time is 1 msec. Last calibration: cold sky + receiver 20090731, quiet sun 20090801 (cm) FHNW Home | Environmental data Bleien observatory | Status Phoenix-3 and Callistos | Status ASSERT «Back Last change: May 04 2012, ©Institute for Astronomy ETHZ |
